At the Springfield Christian Church, we understand worship to be a lifestyle; one that encompasses singing and praying as a gathering of church family as well as subtler aspects of our everyday individual routines. Scripture tells us that when we offer our lives to God for His purpose, we are actually participating in a special, spiritual act of worship. And when, as a church community, we begin to connect to God in a way that goes beyond the motions, we start to see worship in a whole new dimension; one that is an integral part of the way we live our lives and relate to those around us. We invite you to join us as we sing songs, pray and continue to find new ways to worship our Creator, both inside and outside church walls.

We're not talking chemistry exams here. At the Springfield Christian Church you'll find a culture in which life-changing knowledge is pursued within the context and support of community. You'll find Bible Study to be an enriching, rewarding experience as you build relationships and make connections. The idea is to learn and grow together; discovering relevant truths that can be applied to everyday life. Here everyone has something to offer, whether it's a new Christ-follower with his or her contagious enthusiasm, or a seasoned mentor offering encouragement and support. And within the laid back setting of the evening bible study at the church or the casual setting of a home living room, you won't feel pressured to know all the right answers. If only chemistry had been this simple.
"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth."
- 1 John 3:18 (NIV)
Serving others is, and should be, the identifying mark of a Christian. Jesus said that he came to earth not to be served, but to serve, and did so by laying his life down for each of us. In doing so, He showed us that true love is expressed when we serve others.
Serving is also a great way to connect with other people. Not only can you share the love of Christ with others as you serve them, but you can also share your love for Christ with other believers as you serve side by side.
There are many opportunities to serve others here at the Springfield Christian Church, throughout Washington County and around the world.
So what are you waiting for? Connect in serving.
Anyone. Anytime. Anywhere.
