Maybe we ought to read the book of Job and learn from God's word. Sometimes we just don't have answers. We have to learn to be satisfied with the knowledge that everything He does is for our good and His glory. No matter what it looks like. When we can accept that, we exhibit faith and glorify God. Father knows best.

Does trouble in fellow humans threaten the heart and core of most people's faith? I've lived long enough to watch many mamy times as deeply devoted faithfilled people seem to panic at the sight of bad things happening to good people. Especially when these bad things are out of everyone's control: You do a good job, your job rewards you, repays you, correct?

How does one stay comfortable in their faith in the face and evidence that bad things, life happens to us all? Or are we afraid it's catching....this could happen to me!? Don't want to think abou that, go away, stay away, get cross and blame people when things stay bad or don't improve right away!

Yet, our biggest challenges are to stay close and abide with those that need support, comfort and help during bad times. And we should never forget, that even Christ himself had his share of tough hard times.

Laura, it is good to hear from you. Within churches one can find some of the most hateful, irresponsible, inconsiderate people. Christians often time become judgemental of others because of the changes they feel they have made. They often just want others to make those same changes and dont understand why everything is not painfully obvious. The result is a modern day Pharisee who believes they are doing God's will when actually they are just pushing people away from Christ. Dont be angry with them, love them the way Christ does, pray for them. It's harder to love and enemy especially when claim to be a friend. Again, it is really nice to hear from you and I hope you change the lives of those who look down on you. Who knows, maybe through your actions of love they will see themselves for what they have become.

Hey Jesse,
How wonderful to hear someone be so open about their own sinfulness. I too am a terrible sinner saved by the grace of God. However I am being treated like an outcast by other christian people and I am so angry about it. So many are plastic and act as if they never have any problems. It sickens me because I get drawn into it thinking that I am not good enough. Oh well. Enjoyed your article
